Our Client situated in the Paarl area, is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join their team.


Key Performance Areas:


Coordinate daily Front of the House restaurant operations

Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction

Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints

Organize and supervise shifts 

Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity 

Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products 

Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations

Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it

Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices




Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role

Proven customer service experience

Ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and waiters

Reliable, honest, well presentable and punctual

Good focus on administration & stock management

Ability to communicate with & manage staff at all levels

Familiarity with restaurant management software Pilot would be advantageous.

Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
