How About: BLACKHEATH—, working as a — STOCK ANALYST— for the FMCG Industry.

Our client in Blackheath is looking for a hard-working analytical person to join their growing team and assist in monitoring, controlling and reconciling the movement of inventory from source, through storage and production to dispatch.

— REQUIREMENTS:

An Undergraduate degree in Agricultural Economics/ Supply Chain/ Logistics or Accounting/Food Science

Min 1 years’ experience in a relevant position, preferably in a large food processing/ agricultural environment.

Computer literate in excel, word and outlook at a basic financial modeling level.

Ability to read, statistical analyses and interprets documentation

Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations

Code EB (08) Driver’s License

Excellent communication skills (Write, Read & understand in English)

Experience in planning and inventory

Excellent project management and organizational skills

Excellent experience in data analysis and forecasting methods

Advanced excel

Working knowledge of ERP systems (Microsoft Nav Advantage)

Ability to review and optimize processes and create reports

Strong interpersonal and presentation skills

Must be able to travel when required

 

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reconciliation of stock

Monitor accurate movement of stock between stores and processes

Projecting and determining necessary stock levels for production and sales

Implement and execute an inventory replenishment system

Work with all departments to determined optimum stock levels and resolve slow moving or obsolete stocks

Optimize stock levels while ensuring customer service levels are not compromised

Demand forecasting

Ensure accurate stock levels

Develop and implement inventory controls and best practise

Oversee cycle count procedures and investigate and resolve variances

Monthly Reporting

 

 

Salary: R20,000 to R30,000 Neg
