Our client, an established law firm based in Paarl is looking for an experienced Litigation Secretary with extensive administrative and clerical experience.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Dictaphone typing
  • Typing of general correspondence
  • Instructing attorneys on client’s behalf
  • Managing the litigation process with attorneys
  • Telephonic client liaison
  • Consult with clients
  • Personal Assistant responsibilities

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience as a litigation secretary (5 years plus)
  • Knowledge of constitution, legal terminology, regulations and court system
  • Knowledge of MS Office and ability to work with legal technology (court-filing computer systems, transcription software, dictaphone etc.)
  • Proficiency in Afrikaans & English
  • Outstanding time-management and typing skills
  • Ability to multitask and being comfortable dealing with a diverse pool of people
  • Litigation Secretary certification or diploma

 

SALARY:

R13 000 - R15 000 CTC

 

WORKING HOURS:

Monday – Friday 08:00 - 17:00
