Front of House Manager - Stellenbosch

Well known Stellenbosch Bakery requires an experienced, hardworking, enthusiastic, sales-driven individual to join our team as Front of House Manager. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, fluent in English with a good command of Afrikaans, well-spoken, passionate about food & wine, be creative and passionate individual, with strong leadership qualities and a team player. 

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Opening and closing the restaurant

- Coordinate communication with Front of House and Back of House team

- Guest management & liaising

- Manage scheduling of Front of House shifts

- Inventory and daily stock management.

- Ordering of stock

- Manage service-ware

- Oversee distribution of gratuities and cash up


- Pro-active, creative and friendly individual with strong leadership qualities, team player and a can-do attitude

- Experience in managing and build a strong and effective FOH team with an emphasis on efficient, fast and friendly service

- Strong administrative skills

- Good e-mail etiquette and building up of customer database

- Sound knowledge of wine and food advantageous
