Imbuko Wines, a successful supplier of bulk – and bottle wines for both National and International markets, is situated in Wellington. We require a highly competent and passionate individual in our Finance team. This position requires a person with previous finance, creditors, debtors and bookkeeping experience, preferably in the wine industry.

The main purpose of the position is to assist the Financial Manager with a variety of financial and bookkeeping functions and to ensure these are accurate and efficiently completed.

Main functions:

  • Receive orders and process sales orders and invoices for all local sales.
  • Processing and distributing daily delivery schedules.
  • Process receipts from clients.
  • Keep Excel spreadsheets of Debtors Age Analysis up to date.
  • Processing creditors receipts against purchase orders.
  • Processing of creditors payments.
  • Monthly accurate reconciliation of creditors.
  • Assist with stock takes.
  • Processing of diesel and petrol orders.
  • Scan POD’s and Invoices.
  • Ensuring that all financial filing is up to date and accurately and timeously done.
  • Assist with various other ad-hoc financial tasks.

Requirements:

Education & Training:

  • Tertiary qualification in Bookkeeping or Finance
  • Fully competent in MS Office and specifically Excel (Ezy Wine software would be an advantage)

Experience:

  • At least three years’ bookkeeping experience.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Able to work independently.
  • Attention to detail / high accuracy level.
  • Time management and prioritising excellence.
