Job brief

Our client, a leading and well respected producer and much admired brand, redefines the industry and changes the way consumers feel, taste, see, smell and experience Hospitality and Wine produced. We are seeking a Hospitality Manager that can assist in creating an immersive experience that captures the imagination and build emotive connections between or guests and brand alike along with running and maintaining a profitable and well run Hospitality platform.

 Role Objectives and Responsibilities

Ensure the Hospitality division operates efficiently and profitably. 

Representation of the Brand at all times

  • Co-ordinate and manage all Food and Beverage outlets
  • Strong business sense and financial acumen to implement financial controls to ensure  profitability  
  • Budgeting, planning, forecasting 
  • To assist the marketing team to plan to grow all hospitality outlets 
  • To monitor and manage service levels to ensure continued service excellence  
  • To lead and manage the hospitality team which includes appointment, deployment, staff development, performance appraisals and retention.
  • To plan and control the day-to-day operations of the Hospitality Department including  inventory levels, daily training, procurement, maintenance issues and staff scheduling 
  • To plan, coordinate and execute events as per agreed company standards
  • To ensure all costings are in line with company policy, which includes the sourcing of contractors and suppliers   
  • Determine and implement service excellence standards and monitor & evaluate outcome
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing, hygiene and health and safety regulations.
  • Stock control and management  
  • Monthly reporting to Management to include food and beverage report, financial outcomes, staff training completed, maintenance issues, procurement 
  • Daily walk about on the farm to ensure all areas are ready prior to service start

Requirements

  • A recognised 3-year Hospitality Qualification
  • At least 3-years’ experience in successfully managing a multi operational business unit
  • Experience in managing a highly motivated team and running daily Head of Department meetings
  • Experience in profitably managing a Wine Tasting Centre
  • Willing and able to work flexible working hours in line with hospitality industry practices, including weekends and public holidays
