Winemaking interns required for 2020 harvest - Stellenbosch

Jordan Wine Estate in Stellenbosch, South Africa,  are looking for 2-3 international interns as well as 2 South African interns, to work on their award winning wine estate and experience all that it takes to create legendary wines.

Successful candidates must have worked in a wine cellar during harvest on numerous occasions, have a sound understanding of machinery, the winemaking process and the hard work that goes into the day to day operations of running a wine cellar! They must be hard-working, enthusiastic, have a good sense of humour and be willing to work long hours.

Interns will be involved in all aspects of the winery & production of wine. No vineyard work will be required, except for the odd harvest / grape estimation counts.

Accommodation will be made available for all international interns on the estate, as well as meals during harvest.

Fun and interesting blind tastings, will be conducted each evening. Be sure to bring a bottle of your favourite wine with you…

The ideal candidates MUST have a good grasp of the English language.

Duration of harvest: January until end April 2020
