Inherent Requirements: 

  • Hotel Management or Food & Beverage Management qualification is advantageous
  • Experience and knowledge of Italian cuisine is advantageous


Experience and skills:

  • Minimum of 2 to 5 years in the same of similar role in a Top 20 Restaurant
  • Experience with Dineplan reservation software
  • Moderate skills in Microsoft Office
  • Competent in Food and Beverage operational skills and knowledge
  • Competent in digital communication tools
  • Excellent communication and telephone etiquette skills in English

Main Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests in a professional and welcoming way upon arrival
  • Receive telephone calls and emails to deal with reservation requests and special requests of guests
  • Assist the Front of House team to set op the restaurant for service, ensuring all necessary tasks are performed efficiently and timeously
  • Maintain professional composure and language while dealing with guests requests and complaints during service
  • Communicate positive and negative guest feedback to the Restaurant Manager
