Seasonal staff required for STELLENBOSCH Bakery

Seasonal staff required for well-known wine estate with onsite Bakery.

Please note, this is a contract position starting 1 November 2019 - 30 April 2020

Working Hours: Monday - Sundays: 07h30 – 17h00

 Duties and responsibilities include but is not limited to: 

  • Assist in setting up restaurant according to table plan and table settings
  • Stocking of service areas throughout the shift with glassware and beverages
  • Ensures all food is according to the order docket’s requirements to running it out to a guest
  • Delivers food to tables and ensures guests have all they need
  • Informs managers of any ticket times exceeding standards
  • Offers assistance to guests by clearing away dishes and glassware
  • Communicating requests/orders from guests to waiters
  • Assists other team members as needed or when business needs dictate
  • Washing and polishing of glassware
  • Assist in clearing dirty crockery, cutlery and glassware from side stations to kitchen
  • Setting up and clearing of picnics
  • Have the physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours

Successful candidates must be team players, have a good work ethic and be able to communicate with local and international guests.
