Position: Vintage Winemaker, will report to Chief Winemaker (based in France), the candidate will ensure that all winemaking procedures are carried out in a way which optimises quality and efficiency according to company standards. Under the mentorship of the Chief Winemaker ensure company protocols, complieance, quality management systems and process improvements are met.

Where: Chateau Nine Peaks, Shandong, China

Specific Activities:

- Participate in vineyard and varietal fruit assessments
- supervise receival and evaluation of fruit at intake in accordance with specifications
- In conjunction with cellar staff, ensure wine and most processing is carried in accordance to specifications
- Check and supervise key cellar and winemaking processes, including pressing, clarification, fermentation and filtration.
- Prepare cellar worksheet and other instructions for communication
- Maintain relevant winemaking records and information on fruit assessment, receival, processing and fermentation
- Promote the brand and its products

Selection Criteria:

- Completed or be  undertaking a tertiary qualification degree in Oenology
- Practical winemaking experience for at least 3-5 vintages
