Kleine Zalze Wines is looking for a versatile and dynamic individual to join their progressive and inclusive team in the role of National Sales Manager. This role will take full responsibility for all functions relating to managing the sales and trade marketing activities for the South African market in conjunction with our national distributor. The position will also be responsible for longer term sales and trade marketing strategies for the South African market underpinned by thorough market and sales data analysis.  Input will be required in areas such as portfolio development, product and brand development, strategic positioning and identification of consumer trends and needs.

Qualification and Experience Requirements

  • At least 5 years sales experience; sales management experience will be an advantage.
  • Effective relationship building, customer service and negotiation skills.
  • Strong understanding of the changing consumer landscape.
  • The ability to anticipate, meet and/or exceed customer needs, wants and expectations.
  • Trade marketing and marketing experience will be an advantage.
  • Proven successful sales track record.
  • Experience in dealing with different sales channels.
  • Proven strong account management/oversight.
  • Excellent administrative skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office suite.
  • Technically minded, attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and keep to deadlines.
