Pick Me Recruitment is urgently looking for a strong General Manager to run a busy 400 seater restaurant with a 4-Star 16 bedroomed-Lodge and Conference centre in Nigel, Gauteng. This is an ideal opportunity for a strong hands-on manager OR a couple with relevant experience. The required start date is June 2021.  The perfect candidate will show strong operational, managerial and communication skills with an eye for detail.  Must be hands-on and organised.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing and manager the busy 400 seater restaurant operations
  • Overall responsible for the daily operations and growth of the 4-star Lodge and Conference / Events areas
  • Continued staff training
  • Daily administrative and financial duties
  • The management of Health and Safety and Covid-19 regulations 

Minimum Requirements

  • Formal relevant hospitality education and will be advantageous 
  • Strong Operational & Management skills
  • Computer Literate
  • Matric 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Resourceful and an exceptional eye for detail 
  • Adaptable to change 
  • Valid driver’s licence 

Remuneration:  R25 000 - R35 000 Gross (plus possible profit share oportunities)
