Cellar Intern for 2022 Harvest

Jordan Wine Estate in Stellenbosch, are looking for 2-3 interns to work on this award winning Wine Estate and experience all that it takes to create legendary wines.

Interns will be involved in all aspects of the winery & production of wine. No vineyard work will be required, except for the odd harvest / grape estimation counts.

Two meals a day (breakfast and dinner) and accommodation will be provided. Fun and interesting blind tastings, will be conducted most evenings. Be sure to bring a bottle of your favourite wine with you!

Due to languages constraints within the current team, we require the ideal candidates to have a good grasp of English and Afrikaans, to avoid miss-communication during this critical time.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Grape sampling, machine harvesting, hand harvesting, crushing, pressing, cleaning of tanks and barrel work, making additions, inoculations, lab work, sugar readings
