We are currently looking for a detailed orientated individual with exceptional communication skills to perform the duties of the reservationist and administrator.

The position will suit a well presented and well-versed individual with strong organizational skills. A pro-active approach to your day would most certainly ensure that things run smoothly in a busy environment.

DUTIES:

Restaurant

  • processing all mails, screening calls, and answering enquiries/complaints.
  • responsible for restaurant bookings. Liaise details with relevant employees.
  • create restaurant function sheets and ensuring that these are properly managed.
  • update department databases/data capturing
  • handle routine sales transactions which include operating pos, cash, and card transactions.
  • weekly cash up summary for restaurant, wine tasting and shop.
  • monthly supplier consignment reports and submission of monthly invoices to the accounts department.
  • diary management, including arranging and coordinating meetings for various departments, driver’s delivery/collection schedule.
  • office maintenance, including replenishing consumables and stationery.
  • communicate special occasions, notices, memos promptly to all staff.
  • ensure general information on the server is updated
  • assist with hospitality special events as needed.
  • financial tasks including banking and handling the petty cash.
  • setting up special events, dates, and deposits on dineplan.
  • update sites such as dining out and eat out with new menus once released.

Shop

  • provide training to casuals ensuring they know policies, products and how to operate the point of sale.
  • complete weekly cash up by pulling micros report and comparing it to sales captured on the point of sale
  • create monthly sales report indicating consignment / purchased stock sold.
  • monthly supplier consignment reports and submission of monthly invoices to the accounts department.
  • monthly stock take
  • ensure stock levels are sufficient by placing orders with suppliers.
  • adding new products to micros and ensuring that prices are updated accordingly.

Guest house

  • liaising with events department and perfect hideaways regarding enquiries and confirmed reservations.
  • ensures that reservations are captured on the relevant calendars.
  • ordering of guest amenities and other supplies when needed.
  • preparation of house before arrival and doing checks upon departure of guests.
  • inventory count.
  • handling the check in and check out processes.
  • liaising with events department / perfect hideaways regarding any damages / breakages upon departure.

Tuesdays to Saturdays 08:00 – 17:00
