The Demi Chef supports in delivering high-quality, seasonal dishes that reflect Delheim Wines’ farm-to-table philosophy. This role requires a reliable, skilled Demi chef who can work independently, maintain consistency and contribute positively to a small, close-knit kitchen team in a garden restaurant setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • Handle daily mise en place and assist during service periods
  • Support with kitchen operations and service execution
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, taste and presentation
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and health regulations
  • Assist with stock control, ordering support and minimising waste
  • Help develop seasonal dishes when required
  • Maintain cleanliness, organisation and proper storage in all kitchen areas
  • Work efficiently during busy service periods, tastings, and events

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Formal culinary qualification preferred
  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a professional kitchen
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience with fresh, seasonal and seasonal cuisine advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Availability to work weekends, public holidays and peak seasons
  • Interest in wine, food-and-wine pairing
