The Demi Chef supports in delivering high-quality, seasonal dishes that reflect Delheim Wines’ farm-to-table philosophy. This role requires a reliable, skilled Demi chef who can work independently, maintain consistency and contribute positively to a small, close-knit kitchen team in a garden restaurant setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Handle daily mise en place and assist during service periods
- Support with kitchen operations and service execution
- Maintain high standards of food quality, taste and presentation
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and health regulations
- Assist with stock control, ordering support and minimising waste
- Help develop seasonal dishes when required
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation and proper storage in all kitchen areas
- Work efficiently during busy service periods, tastings, and events
Requirements & Qualifications
- Formal culinary qualification preferred
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a professional kitchen
- Ability to work independently
- Experience with fresh, seasonal and seasonal cuisine advantageous
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Availability to work weekends, public holidays and peak seasons
- Interest in wine, food-and-wine pairing
