Blaauwklippen Wine Estate is looking for a skilled Chef de Partie to lead a kitchen section and uphold exceptional food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards. This role is key to delivering a seamless guest experience while embodying our Calm, Confident, Warm, Precise (CCWP) service philosophy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a designated kitchen section (meat, fish, pastry, etc.)
- Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation
- Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness, and FIFO stock control
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff
- Prepare mise en place and support daily service and events
- Work closely with kitchen and service teams for smooth operations
Requirements
- Culinary qualification or relevant experience
- Experience as Demi Chef de Partie or Chef de Partie
- Strong cooking, organizational, and leadership skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to perform under pressure and work flexible hours
