Blaauwklippen Wine Estate is looking for a skilled Chef de Partie to lead a kitchen section and uphold exceptional food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards. This role is key to delivering a seamless guest experience while embodying our Calm, Confident, Warm, Precise (CCWP) service philosophy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a designated kitchen section (meat, fish, pastry, etc.)
  • Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and presentation
  • Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness, and FIFO stock control
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff
  • Prepare mise en place and support daily service and events
  • Work closely with kitchen and service teams for smooth operations

Requirements

  • Culinary qualification or relevant experience
  • Experience as Demi Chef de Partie or Chef de Partie
  • Strong cooking, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to perform under pressure and work flexible hours
