We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead a high-end dining property along Cape Town’s Atlantic Seaboard. This role requires a hands-on leader with a passion for exceptional guest experiences, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to drive a high-performing team in a fast-paced, premium environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring seamless service delivery
  • Lead, train, and inspire front-of-house and management teams
  • Maintain exceptional service standards aligned with a luxury brand
  • Drive revenue growth, manage budgets, and control costs
  • Monitor and improve guest satisfaction and online reputation
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu execution and guest experience
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance management
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant GM or Senior Manager in a high-end or fine dining environment
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent understanding of food, wine, and service standards
  • Commercially driven with strong financial acumen
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and guest engagement skills
  • Relevant hospitality qualification advantageous
