A prestigious 5-star hotel and estate in Stellenbosch are seeking an experienced and service-driven Food & Beverage Manager to lead its dining, tasting room, lounge, and guest food service operations.
This is a senior leadership role requiring a hands-on hospitality professional with strong operational discipline, commercial awareness, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences within a luxury environment.
The successful candidate will oversee all food and beverage operations across multiple outlets, ensuring world-class service standards, strong financial performance, effective team leadership, and seamless collaboration between front-of-house, kitchen, and hotel operations.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all food and beverage operations across restaurants, lounges, tasting facilities, and in-room dining.

Drive guest satisfaction and service excellence across all touchpoints.

Manage departmental budgets, stock control, margins, and profitability.

Lead, mentor, and motivate service teams to maintain exceptional standards.

Work closely with the Executive Chef and operational leadership on menu development, service strategy, and guest experience.

Oversee staffing, training, scheduling, and performance management.

Ensure operational efficiency, preventative maintenance, hygiene, and compliance standards.

Introduce innovative ideas and systems to continuously improve the F&B offering.

Handle guest engagement and service recovery professionally and effectively.
Minimum Requirements
-
Proven experience in a senior Food & Beverage management role within luxury hospitality.

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Excellent understanding of restaurant, bar, and hotel operations.

Sound financial and commercial acumen.

Strong organisational and communication skills.

Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining high standards.

Experience with POS systems, Protel, and Microsoft Office is advantageous.
