The successful candidate will report to the Financial Manager, and be responsible for assisting with: *Financial and Management Statements Reporting *Audit *Accounting & recons *Members payment and administration *All other tasks related to the position.
In addition, the Accountant will also be responsible for the preparation and finalisation of monthly sales and opex budgets, the full financial function pertaining to customers, and will also assist/support the Financial Manager on an ad hoc basis with the development of new financial and management reports.
Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting or similar field;
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role;
• Knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices;
• Proficiency in MS Office & Pastel/Palladium accounting software;
• Excellent communication skills (Afrikaans & English);
• Own reliable transport.
