We seek a visionary and ambitious leader to work synergistically and confidently alongside owner Michael Ratcliffe as our General Manager.
The position will require that you have a thorough understanding of the context within which this global wine brand operates. you will value strong relationships with stakeholders, both internal & external and have the ability to function with empathy, real connection & transparency. you will possess the ability to motivate and direct a team of diverse & talented people. you will have a superior understanding & appreciation of the new digital economy, and the ability to align these strategies to execute in line with the clearly defined long-term vilafonté strategy.
The ideal candidate will have:
- an appropriate tertiary qualification, with a master’s in business administration being favourable.
- strong wine industry sales & marketing experience & a developed international network.
- a deep understanding of the global wine market and strong stakeholder relationship management skills.
- high-level digital skills and familiarity with modern technology.
