In this key position where we take great care of our guests and all the details, you will work with all the departments of the establishment. You will be held responsible for the cleanliness of the entire establishment and its impeccable presentation.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Housekeepers (Room Attendants and Laundry Attendants) at Lynx Collection will work with the Housekeeping Supervisor & Operations Manager to ensure that the daily housekeeping operations and standards of The Lynx Collection are met (if not, exceeded). They Room Attendants will see to the hygiene and cleanliness of guest bedrooms and bathrooms, timeously carrying out the tasks allocated by the Operations Manager.
REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPECTATIONS
- Previous experience in Housekeeping in a 5-star environment or similar.
- Good command of the English language (verbal/ written)
- Physical fitness to perform the duties of a Room Attendant/ Laundry Attendant to the best of his/her ability
- Must live in the Franschhoek valley
- Team player
- Attention to detail
- Sense of urgency
It is important that the candidate can work as part of a team and is a good cultural fit for The Lynx Collection Team.
South African citizenship is advantageous. A valid work permit, Visa and Passport is essential if you are not in possession of a South African ID document.
