Wine Tasting Ambassador

Kleine Zalze Tasting Room in Stellenbosch is looking for wine tasting ambassadors for a fixed term period for the 2024/2025 summer season.

The successful candidate is required to deliver excellent customer service to our guests, uphold the service excellence standard within their role and to drive sales within the hospitality department.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Formal wine education will be an advantage
• 1 – 2 years’ minimum experience within the wine & restaurant industry
• Good understanding of hospitality procedures and practices
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Passion for wine and the hospitality industry
• Own transport

Responsibilities:

• Serving customers in the Tasting Room and if required the Restaurant
• Execution of daily duties (incl. set-up, service, end-of-duties etc.)
• Drive sales (incl. wine sales, food, wine club sign-ups, etc.)
• Provide efficient and superb customer service to guests
• General duties within the Hospitality Department
