Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team in the Liquor industry in South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with customers, and driving sales growth in the hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities with restaurants, hotels, catering companies, and other service providers.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  4. Conduct sales calls, product demonstrations, and presentations to showcase our products and services.
  5. Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with customers.
  6. Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure excellent customer service and resolve any issues.
  7. Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments.
  8. Report sales performance, customer feedback, and market insights to management.
  9. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  10. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our products, services, and pricing.

Minimum Requirements:

-  2+ years of sales experience in the liquor trade.

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing customer relationships

- Strong knowledge of the South African market

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel (if required)

Preferred Qualifications:

- Undergraduate bachelor’s degree in Sports Science, Finance, Law (LLB) or similar.

- Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools
