Our client, a wine wholesale company, currently has an opportunity for a Trade Marketing Manager to join their team just outside Stellenbosch (Klapmuts). The primary aim of this role is to grow the wine brand portfolio by improving in-store execution, measuring its impact, and enhancing brand appeal at the point of purchase, driving revenue and profitability in the wine category.

The ideal candidate will embrace leadership, excel in problem-solving and project management, and communicate effectively while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet strategic goals.

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Trade Marketing, and responsibilities will include: *Work with Sales Teams and Brand Partners to develop trade marketing strategies that boost consumer engagement, meet sales targets, and increase market share *Support the Head of Trade Marketing in creating and implementing innovative brand strategies to enhance market presence *Oversee the production of high-quality marketing materials, collaborating with designers and suppliers for effective POS materials *Analyze market trends and competitor activities to guide marketing decisions *Train sales teams on executing trade promotions and POS strategies *Ensure sales and merchandising plans align with overall marketing and trade strategies *all other tasks related to this role.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:

• Relevant tertiary qualification;

• 2-3 years’ experience in Operational Execution and Brand Management;

• Experience in the wine industry will be advantageous;

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and familiarity with SYSPRO or similar ERP software;

• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.

• Fluency in spoken and written English.
