We are looking for a capable and experienced Front of House Manager/Assistant Manager to join our new restaurant in Elgin. If you’re passionate about hospitality, thrive in a high-energy environment, and have strong leadership skills, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing daily administrative duties and store operations
  • Coordinating events and functions, ensuring clear communication with guests and management
  • Providing exceptional guest service and acting as a point of contact on the restaurant floor
  • Ensuring daily pre- and post-shift checklists are completed and properly filed
  • Continuously reviewing operations and staff performance to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Managing stock and inventory systems on Lightspeed 
  • Monitoring staff punctuality and maintaining a strong floor presence during service
  • Explaining the menu to customers – an interest and understanding of food preparation, produce and sustainability is key.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a high-volume restaurant
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Proficiency in Dineplan and Lightspeed POS
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail and a process-driven approach
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Integrity, discretion, and strong decision-making abilities
  • Must have reliable transport to and from Elgin
  • Hours - Wednesday to Sunday - 8.00 - 17.45 pm
