Telesales Consultant – English Sparkling Wine Sales

Location:
Bree Street, Cape Town, South Africa
Target Market: On-consumption customers (restaurants, hotels, clubs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation and Cold Calling: Identify and target potential clients in Sussex, focusing on restaurants, hotels, private clubs, and wine bars. Expand to surrounding areas as the role progresses.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with buyers, sommeliers, and decision-makers in the hospitality industry.
  • Product Knowledge: Become an expert in Leonardslee Family Vineyard’s English Sparkling Wine and South African wine portfolio, being able to speak fluently about production methods, flavor profiles, and the unique story behind the brand.
  • Sales Pitching: Deliver tailored sales pitches, highlighting the quality, exclusivity, and prestige of your wines, emphasizing their suitability for premium establishments.
  • Promotions and Offers: Present limited-time offers, exclusive events, and seasonal discounts to on-consumption clients.
  • Order Management: Process orders, coordinate delivery, and handle any customer enquiries.
  • Corporate Gifting Initiatives: Promote sparkling wine packages for corporate gifting, particularly around key seasons like Christmas and summer events.
  • Reporting and Targets: Meet sales targets and provide regular reports on client feedback, sales progress, and any market opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal communication and sales skills, with experience in telesales.
  • Knowledge or passion for premium wines is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently with UK-based clients from South Africa.

Experience in the hospitality or luxury sectors is a plus.
