Contreberg, a popular wine and hospitality farm in Darling is looking for candidates to fulfil the role of HOSPITALITY SUPERVISOR. Based at the farm this role will oversee all the food and beverage requirements for the tasting room, retail shop, The venue and Manor House.
Suitable candidates will have a customer focused personality with a keen eye for attention to detail and demonstrate intuitive based decision-making skills. Your passion for the wine industry and hands-on approach would best suit this role.
The role covers but is not limited to:
- Day to day food & beverage operations of the tasting room, retail shop, The venue and Manor House
- Full responsibility of the operating equipment and stock, including its inventory levels and stock counts.
- Carries out the set service standard procedures in each area and assists with directing, supervising and motivating any additional staff to perform to the highest level of service.
- Assists with and presents wine tasting experiences
- Communicates with guests and shares feedback with Owners to ensure high levels of food & beverage, service quality and guest satisfaction are maintained at all times.
- Conduct site inspections of the property with potential clients
- Demonstrates excellent product knowledge
- Quality and presentation of menus and services and customer service
- Generates relevant end of day, weekly and monthly reports for the management and is computer literate
- Ensures that a safe, hygienically fit working environment is maintained at all times in line with the OHSA and report any concerns or faults immediately
- Reports incidents of breakages, equipment repair and maintenance
- Flexible to assist with additional duties as and when required as per the operational demands
