Waiter Position

We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals with previous Fine Dining or Five Star Hotel Experience to join our team at Brookdale Estate in Paarl as a Seasonal Waiter/Waitress during the busy season!  It will be a bonus if you live in Paarl or Wellington.

Requirements and skills

• Proven work experience as a Waiter or Waitress
• Hands-on experience withordering information system (e.g. Lightspeed)
• Basic math skills
• Attentiveness and patience for customers
• Excellent presentation skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking
• Active listening and effective communication skills
• Team spirit and friendliness
• Flexibility to work in shifts

Key responsibilities

• Take accurate food and beverage orders and serve them promptly.
• Ensure tables are set and cleared in a timely manner.
• Provide excellent customer service to enhance the dining experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area.
