Warwick Wine Estate is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our Hospitality Department as a Sculler/Kitchen Assistant for a fixed-term period. This role is instrumental in maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness, ensuring the seamless operation of our kitchen and contributing to the exceptional service we provide to our guests.
Position Purpose:
As a Sculler/Kitchen Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across both Front-of-House and Back-of-House areas. By ensuring clean and well-organized areas, you will directly contribute to the smooth operation of our hospitality services and the overall guest experience.
Requirements:
- Grade 10
- 1-2 years’ experience working in a Hospitality industry is preferred

Responsibilities:
- Maintaining Hygiene and Cleaning Standards:
- Perform general cleaning duties to ensure the Hospitality area is always clean, neat and tidy.
- Wash and dry dishes and glasses according to established standards.
- Sweep and mop floors to maintain cleanliness.
- Stock Management:
- Refill kitchen supplies as needed to support daily operations.
- Report any kitchen supply requirements to the Sous chef in a timely manner.
- Maintaining Maintenance Standards:
- Perform maintenance activities related to cleaning, such as maintaining and cleaning machinery and appliances.
- General:
- Assist with any other duties as required to support the overall operation of the kitchen.
