Inbound Administrator - Fruit Industry - Nelspruit

Job purpose:

To ensure the effective and efficient intake of produce and administration of the Juice, waste and Cash sales.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY AREAS

  • Inspect trucks/tractors on arrival and complete inspection for raw material transport form with coordinator for every delivery (including transport/securing corners) 
  • Ensure bin tickets are correctly completed e.g. Grower name, variety, orchard name, block numbers etc, and validated against delivery notes for accuracy 
  • Ensure bins are inspected and any damages are recorded against the batch on Packsys.
  • Responsible for the capturing and reconciling of accurate records and co signing on all delivery notes o
  • Ensuring that traceability of all bins in the area is maintained through the issuance of unique bar codes and completing bin tickets for any juice, defect or waste bins returned from the production line.
  • Bins must be weighed and registered on applicable run.
  • Responsible for the daily physical stock take of bins on the floor 
  • Booking in and out of empty bins on the system

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Relevant qualification and or experience in Transport Management/Logistics/Supply Chain.

Any Computer systems (i.e.) Packsys/Paltreck/SAP experience is advantageous.

Packhouse experience will be a major benefit.
