Maintenance Stock Administrator - Fruit Industry - Nelspruit

Purpose: Undertakes administration and operational tasks as per operating procedures as instructed by Management.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY AREAS

• Responsible for the capturing and reconciling of accurate records on the maintenance system, Job cards and task lists daily

• Ensuring all delivery notes/receipt or notes are processed accordingly on the system (GRN)

• Ordering of all tools, parts or consumables for the workshop

• Requesting quotations from all suppliers

• Ensuring the spare parts system is being managed and updated daily, and purchased list is up to date.

• Accuracy and timely capturing of data and maintaining smooth operations with adequate levels of stock available.

• Asset pool

• Filing & Administration

• Report writing

• Conducting weekly and monthly stock takes

• Capturing of diesel and paraffin usage

• Maintaining maintenance store

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Matric

• Diploma or equivalent

• Packhouse experience will be advantageous.

COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent problem solving, analytical and numerical abilities are crucial.

• Excellent knowledge and computer skills (MS Office)

• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills

• Effective handling of detailed information and consistent attention to detail

• Must be a team player.

• Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes.

• Must be able to work well under pressure.

• Able to work shifts
