D'Aria Winery seeks a dedicated, reliable and passionate individual to join our team for the 2025 harvest season.
This position offers a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience in a premium wine production environment, working directly with the winemaker and viticulturist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-harvest data capturing: Assist with bunch counts, berry counts, bunch weights, berry weights
  • Grape Sampling and Analysis: Assist with vineyard sampling and testing balling
  • Harvest and young wine operations: Grape receival admin. Crushing, pressing, pump-overs and punchdowns.
  • Fermentation Monitoring: Monitor balling and temperatures, sampling.
  • Barrel Work: Learn and participate in barrel work, including topping, racking, and preparing barrels for ageing.
  • Cleaning and Sanitization: To maintain winemaking standards, ensure equipment, tanks, and cellar areas are clean and sanitized.
  • Additions and inoculations: Under instruction and guidance of winemaker 

Requirements:

  • Recently completed a degree/diploma in Viticulture and Oenology.
  • Harvest experience will be beneficial 
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required during harvest.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work in a team
  • Physical ability to perform cellar tasks and lift up to 25 kg.
