Front of House Supervisor for restaurant and tasting operations

Are you passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences and have a love for wine and hospitality? We are looking for a Front of House Supervisor to oversee our restaurant and tasting operations. This role is integral to ensuring our guests receive exceptional service in a world-class setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver an exceptional guest experience by upholding and performing duties according to agreed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain high standards in product quality, restaurant cleanliness, and security.
  • Ensure fast, friendly, and accurate service through effective delegation and task follow-up.
  • Welcome and engage each guest with warmth and professionalism.
  • Supervise cash handling procedures, including till balancing and cash-up according to SOPs.
  • Assist with server and barista duties as required, supporting the Hospitality Manager with inventory and ordering.
  • Assist in event setup, execution, and breakdown.
  • Lead engaging wine tastings and share Nederburg’s rich heritage.
  • Maintain and foster positive relationships with guests, team members, and partners.
  • Adhere to all organisational policies, identifying areas for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Matric is a must
  • Flexible availability, with the ability to work both AM and PM shifts.
  • A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, team orientation, and a proactive approach to guest service.


This position is on a contract basis with a starting date as soon as possible (November 2024)
