Tasting Room / Front of House

Permanent position open for an enthusiastic individual. This person must be a team player while taking lead in the work place. This roll will fit someone with strong communication skills. This individual must be comfortable interacting with guests and address and resolve guest complaints in a professional manner. Someone that ensures fair treatment and respect for all team members.

• Responsible for running daily Restaurant / Wine tasting and Planning of group bookings
• Fully bilingual in English & Afrikaans
• You must be resident in or near Stellenbosch and have your own transport as this position requires shift, weekend and holiday work
• Willing to work public holidays & weekends
• Friendly personality and professional appearance
• Must be customer service orientated
• Be proactive and able to multi task
• Ability to plan and organize
• Strong leadership, motivational, and people skill
• Must have an eye for detail
• Must live the company values
• Wine knowledge and experience in running a tasting room

Background/ experience advantage

• Previous background in front of house and management roles
• Wine knowledge and experience in running a tasting room / restaurant
• Computer literate
• Semper and Pastel experience an advantage
• Cash up experience
• Stock take
• Qualification in either Wine/ management/ hospitality
