We at Rueda Wine Co. (www.ruedawine.com), are seeking a fast-learning and results-oriented Sales Representative to join our dynamic team and promote our exceptional portfolio of wines (South African, French, Italian, Swiss, and Spanish) to a range of clientele—both private and trade (restaurants, wine shops, hotels, wine bars, etc.).
As a Sales Representative, you will build and maintain strong customer relationships, drive sales growth, and expand our market presence in the wine industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with superb products and a strong team and contribute to the success of our organisation.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Sales generation and growth of customer base
- Plans on reaching and exceeding sales targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, including private clients, wine and spirits retailers, restaurants, bars, and hotels
- Working closely with your manager and CRM system to improve on selling ability
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including prospecting and cold-calling potential customers
- Regularly visit clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide ongoing product support
- Organise and host tastings to educate and display the products we have on offer
- Order taking, invoicing and weekly sales reporting
- Recommend suitable products based on customer preferences and provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process

Education and experience needed:
- 3+ years experience in the wine industry and a proven sales track record
- Deep passion for wine and foundational wine knowledge and qualification, minimum of WSET 2, or the equivalent.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of clients.
- Exceptional negotiation and persuasive selling skills.
- Competent working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (word, excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Other requirements:
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory
- Functioning smartphone
