Estate Cleaner

Blaauwklippen Hospitality (Pty) Ltd requires an enthusiastic and hardworking cleaner to join their Wine Estate Team. The main purpose of the role is to take responsibility for all estate cleaning. The ideal candidate must be proactive, take initiative in cleaning of areas, have an eye for detail and must be presentable and fluent in English and Afrikaans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Follows all safety, sanitation & company procedures & policies
• Keep all areas on Estate and its environment clean, attractive, and comfortable to guests
• Keeping all rooms, lobby, hallways, and the carpets, floor, stairs clean/ vacuumed
• Cleaning of furniture and windows
• Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and ensuring new toiletries provided and are placed at appropriate places
• Take away, service items, dirty linen, and trash
• Adjust furniture, desk items, and appliances when necessary
• Dust furnishings and walls and remove marks from them
• Keep uniform clean and make sure to appear professional always
• Keep all company information confidential
• Ensure company standards are followed in welcoming and acknowledging all guests
• Provide assistance to guests with disabilities
• Genuinely appreciate and thank guests for their visit
• Maintain quality standards and expectations

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Grade 12/ Matric Certificate Completed
• At least 2 years of cleaning experience,
• An eye for detail,
• Friendly, considerate, helpful and energetic,
• Ability to work on your own but also be a team player,
• Good communication skills
