Job Title: Waiter
Job Type: Part-Time
Job Summary:
Enthusiastic waiter that is passionate about food and wine that strives to deliver exceptional service in a stunning vineyard setting. Your role will include greeting and seating guests, presenting menus, taking orders, and providing knowledgeable recommendations.
You will collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure a seamless dining experience while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area. Previous experience in a fine dining or winery setting is preferred, along with strong communication skills and a flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and wine offerings.
- Take and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages, ensuring timely delivery and presentation.
- Answer questions regarding menu items and make recommendations based on guest preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
- Handle payments and manage cash register accurately.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for events by following Events Function sheets
- Uphold and follow all health and safety regulations
- Assist with regular stock take procedures
- Manage all stock items to keep in line with operational budgets
