Join Our Team at Durbanville Wine Safari!
Do you love wine, enjoy entertaining people, and want to work in a fun and dynamic outdoor setting? Durbanville Wine Safari is looking for enthusiastic, well-presented individuals to join us as Wine Guides. This role is ideal for students looking for part-time work.
As a Wine Guide, you will be the face of our safari experience, engaging with guests aboard our safari "trokkie," sharing stories about the wineries, their history, and their offerings, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable journey through the Durbanville Wine Valley.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Entertaining and educating guests aboard the safari "trokkie"
- Sharing insights about the wineries, their family history, and their wines
- Staying up to date with winery offerings and experiences
- Assisting guests with embarking and disembarking safely
- Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the trokkie
- Creating a bubbly, engaging, and memorable experience for all guests
Who We're Looking For:
- Students or young professionals based in or around the Durbanville Wine Valley
- Own transport required
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Well-presented, energetic, and confident
- Interest in wine, tourism, or hospitality (WSET, Cape Wine Academy, or tourism studies advantageous)
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays
