Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. You’ll support the Restaurant Manager in daily operations, staff management, guest relations, and maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily operations, staff scheduling, and training.
- Ensure exceptional customer service for a memorable guest experience.
- Monitor inventory, assist with ordering, and manage costs.
- Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to maintain quality.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented environment.
- Ensure health and safety compliance.
- Assist with training new staff.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management is preferred.
- Proficiency in Afrikaans is required.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of French cuisine and wine is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
