Warehouse General wanted urgently

General responsibilities:

1. He/she is required to pack orders for delivery or pick up.
2. When packing orders, stock per client/delivery note must be packed neatly together for warehouse management to double check the orders before it is allowed to leave the warehouse.
3. Any stock that gets packed must be deducted from the stock sheets that was made for every single product that D’Aria Winery produces.
4. He/she must be available when necessary and APPROVED by management to help the driver with delivery duties on and off the premises.
5. On days that the Winery is busy with bottling and labelling the warehouse staff is responsible for helping, by driving the forklift during the time of production.

Other responsibilities:

1. When warehouse work is done and warehouses are tidy, he/she can be helpful by cleaning the parking area outside and also making sure that the outside area around the Winery is neat and clean.
2. In harvest when it is needed, the warehouse staff can also help under supervision of the winery staff, with cleaning and if needed driving the forklift and offloading the tractor trailers and weighing the grapes.
3. At the end of every working day, the warehouse worker is responsible to make sure that the warehouses are all neat and clean, locked up and secure before he/she leaves the premises.
4. Must also take responsibility for the forklifts. If anything is picked up that is not working properly or sound out of the ordinary it must be reported to management.

Education/Qualification:

• Must have Matric or be able to read, write and keep checklist on vehicles, warehouse equipment and Wine products.
• Must have a valid Forklift licence.
• Must speak and understand either Afrikaans or English.
