Asara Wine Estate and Hotel situated in Stellenbosch has the above position available.

Our ideal candidate is experienced in 5-Star Hotel Management, well-presented, well-spoken, and very detail-orientated. He or she can work in a structured and organised way and with a hands-on approach in a calm, focused manner. Own Transport essential.

DUTIES will include (but not limited to):

  1. Reservation Management (DinePlan, Quicket, etc)
  2. Administration of Food & Beverage training Programme
  3. Menu management and control
  4. Employee administration (timekeeping, contracts, staff information)
  5. Financial and Stock Control
  6. Administration of Departmental procedures and manuals
  7. Departmental administration and planning

SKILLS

  • Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written)
  • Excellent command of English, additional international foreign language advantageous
  • Proficient in hotel software and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with quality and food safety systems
  • Detail-orientated & accurate
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Calm under pressure.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCES:

At least 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field; or a 3–4-year college diploma and at least 1 years of related experience.
