Morgenhof Wine Estate, a historic and prestigious Stellenbosch winery, is seeking a highly experienced Sales and marketing Manager to drive brand growth and expand its local and international market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing initiatives to expand Morgenhof’s presence in domestic and global markets.
- Leverage established relationships and partnerships with retailers, distributors, and key industry stakeholders to secure and expand shelf space.
- Conduct market analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to drive sales performance and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with domestic and international wine laws, including liquor regulations, taxes, duties, and SAWIS requirements.
- Manage and grow Wine Online and other digital sales platforms, optimizing e-commerce strategies.
- Represent Morgenhof at industry events, trade shows, and market-related engagements to strengthen visibility and positioning.
- Develop innovative marketing campaigns and branding strategies to enhance Morgenhof’s competitive edge.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of senior-level sales and marketing experience within the wine industry.
- Proven track record in both local and international wine markets, with the ability to drive brand expansion.
- Strong existing network of retailers, distributors, and industry partners.
- Deep understanding of wine industry regulations, import/export laws, and tax structures.
- Expertise in market trends, sales forecasting, and strategic business development.
- Experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, and omnichannel sales strategies.
- Passion for premium wines and a strong grasp of luxury brand positioning.
