Our dynamic young wine retailer, based in Stellenbosch, is seeking a Sales and E-commerce Manager to drive retail and B2B growth.
The ideal candidate with a strong understanding of the wine industry will have a proven track record in retail sales (including e-commerce) and business-to-business (B2B) sales.
We’re looking for an outgoing, driven, and team-oriented individual with a positive, can-do attitude and a passion for success. Strong leadership skills and a strategic mindset will be key to excelling in this role.
Key Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Sales strategy and revenue growth: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue and expand market reach.
- Client relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail and trade partners, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Business development: Identify new sales opportunities, analyse market trends, and develop strategies to increase brand presence.
- Negotiation and account management: Manage pricing, promotions, and sales agreements with key accounts to optimise profitability.
- Sales forecasting and reporting: Track sales performance, analyse data, and provide strategic insights to improve sales efforts.
- Budget and margin management: Oversee pricing strategies, sales budgets, and profitability targets.
- Trade events and networking: Represent the brand at wine trade shows and industry events to enhance visibility and secure new business.
- Digital and e-commerce sales: Drive online wine sales, engage in digital marketing, and optimise direct-to-consumer sales.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to align sales efforts with brand strategy.
