Vineyard Manager

uniWines Vineyards, located in the beautiful Breedekloof wine region, has a position available for an experienced Vineyard Manager with excellent leadership skills and a dedication to excellence in viticulture to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for: *Implementation of the company's cultivar strategy *Delivery of best practice vineyard growth and maintenance procedures, including implementation of a vineyard classification system *Monitoring vineyards, as well as grape quality and volumes by using data to support the evaluation of vineyard farming practices *Harvest planning, data management, and communicating with all relevant stakeholders *Maintaining producer- and third-party relationships *IPW & SAWIS administration *Financial responsibilities and all other tasks related to the role.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:

• A relevant qualification in Viticulture and Oenology;
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in either a viticultural management or winemaking role, including knowledge of various types of red and white wine grapes;
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office, WineHub);
• Valid driver's license.

Commencement date: June 2025.
