We have a dynamic career opportunity to an individual with preferably a WSET Level 2 Qualification and previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a winery, restaurant, or similar environment.

The Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the Wine Studio. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, capable of managing both the floor and administrative duties.

Experience and Skill:

• Matric Certificate

• WSET Level 2 Qualification would be an advantage

• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a winery, restaurant, or similar environment is required

• Preference will be given to candidates from Franschhoek and neighbouring areas

Inherent Requirements:

• High level of attention to detail

• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving items

• Commitment to an outstanding guest experience

• Proficiency in Inventory Management and point-of-sale systems (Comm7 is a plus)

• Strong leadership and team management skills
