Pick Me Recruitment is seeking an experienced Assistant Guesthouse Manager to join their driven team. We are seeking an individual who is highly guest and service centric, with previous experience in a guesthouse management role. Applicants need to reside in the Winelands area.
Key Responsibilities:
Key duties include overseeing daily operations, ensuring a curated guest experience, assisting with breakfast and housekeeping duties, managing staff, managing reservations, and maintaining the property and its amenities. This also involves managing finances, general office duties, inventory control and addressing guest communication.
Attributes, Experience and Qualification:
- Matric
- Hospitality Diploma or Degree from a recognised institution beneficial
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Afrikaans
- Own vehicle and valid driver's license essential
- Accounting and Financial acumen
- Hands-on approach to daily operations
- Highly Guest and Service orientated
- Attention to detail, mature, sophisticated
- Excellent guest relations skills
- Crises Management skills
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must be flexible and adaptable
- Knowledge and interest in food and wine
- Must be able to plan and organise effectively
- Excellent time management
- Fully computer literate
