Stellenbosch: A prestigious wine estate in the Cape Winelands is seeking an organised, service-driven Hospitality & Guest Services Coordinator to support their restaurant, boutique, and guest house. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Guest Services & Reservations

  • Manage restaurant and guest house bookings and coordinate details with relevant departments
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries with professional communication
  • Maintain accurate guest records and ensure all special occasions and requests are shared with the team
  • Set up functions, log details in Dineplan, and ensure SOPs and documentation are up to date
  • Coordinate check-in and check-out processes and liaise on guest feedback, incidents or breakages
  • Assist with hospitality events and ensure smooth daily operations across F&B and guest accommodation
  • Maintain guest amenities and ensure rooms are prepared to the highest standards before arrivals

Administration & Coordination

  • Manage daily office tasks including consumables, stationery, meeting coordination and internal communication
  • Perform weekly and monthly cash-ups and financial reporting for boutique, tasting room and restaurant
  • Assist with supplier invoice processing and maintain accurate consignment records
  • Coordinate stock management including ordering, inventory, pricing updates and reporting
  • Provide guidance to boutique casuals on POS usage and product knowledge
  • Ensure systems like Micros and POS reflect accurate pricing and products

Key Attributes & Skills

  • Previous experience in a similar environment in the hospitality industry
  • Hospitality accreditation is strongly recommended
  • Eloquent in the English language (read, speak and write)
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Energetic and proactive with a strong service ethic
  • Detail-oriented and highly organised
  • Confident communicator with a professional presence
  • Able to take initiative and work independently or in a team
  • Comfortable under pressure and deadline-driven
  • Excellent collaboration skills with guests and team members
