Our client, a leading foodservice distributor (Perishable / chilled and frozen products), is looking to employ an individual who is dynamic, energetic, driven and self-motivated to join their dynamic sales team. They offer a basic with an excellent commission structure, fuel, mobile and travel allowance, and benefits such as medical aid and pension.
Education and Qualification
Grade 12
A tertiary qualification in Sales & Marketing/ hospitality/ Catering/ Culinary will be advantageous.
Attributes/ Requirements
Code EB valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
At least 2 years proven sales experience within a Hospitality environment or similar industry.
Sound general administration experience essential.
Excellent communication skills and be fully conversant in English.
Computer literacy on MS Word and MS Excel.
Ability to persuade customers to buy.
Capacity to manage and maintain client relationships.
Excellent time management and disciplined.
Ability to work independently as well as being part of a team.
You may be required to work after hours at times.
KPA
Building and maintaining client relationships with potential and existing customers.
Identify business opportunities to grow the market.
Market and promote all products offered by our client
Grow the basket with current customers by introducing new products.
Excellent product knowledge, through continuous supplier training.
Prepare annual sales budget to achieve sales targets.
Contribute positively towards achievement of sales targets set out for the team.
Be an ambassador of the company to customers.
Participate in projects designed to generate revenue for the business.
